Volume 4 in the series about Police Inspector Swane and his team. All books in the books can be read independently
A homeless person is found cruelly murdered in Aalborg city centre. Police Inspector Kristian Swane and his team is called in as reinforcement, because a week from now, Aalborg is hosting an important event with VIP-participants from the EU. The crime scene is in the exact same area as the EU-event, and the police fears that this is no circumstance.
Meanwhile another homeless person – a veteran from Balkan and Iraq, who goes by the name Solider Boy – witnessed the abduction, which occurred prior to the murder. He is mystified and intrigued, because the two abductors spoke Serbian!
The situation rapidly unfolds, when yet another person from the homeless community is killed, and a third is abducted. Concurrently, Swane and Soldier boy, begin to dig deep in the case, which leads Aalborg into complete turmoil and turns out to spring from much more cynical roots, than anyone could have imagined.
Aalborg is about to host an EU-VIP, when several of the city’s homeless people are found murdered. Is there a connection between these events? It is a case for Kristian Swane and his team.
