PETER H. FOGTDAL - THE EGYPTIAN HEART
In Venice in 1144 the 36. Doge Pietro Polani is waiting for world history that will not come to the lagoon. In today’s Copenhagen Zia Juliussen is trying to write a historical thesis on Frederick Norden - a Danish Egyptologist who in 1737 sailed up the Nile to Nubia. The three fates and their love life is strangely intertwined over the centuries. What do they have in common and how are they connected?
THE EGYPTIAN HEART is a magical novel about undying love, mortal sex, reincarnation and history - both the history of the world, our own stories and the stories we tell about the past to make sense of our existence. It’s an accessible and lively novel for everyone who loves history, spirituality, and thought-provoking storytelling about the hidden patterns and connections in our lives.
