STEFFEN JACOBSEN: UNICORN
4th vol. in the Sander/Jensen series
Prime indignation and dark humour are key to Jacobson’s forth book in the Sander/Jensen series. A young woman is found murdered on a plantation west of Copenhagen, sandy and soaked with salt water. No identity, other than a series of letters and numbers, she cut into her own skin before dying, and evidence of a recent birth. Inspector Jensen reluctantly accepts the case, mid-way though her divorce from Private Detective Michael Sander, himself struggling with the case of a missing violinist. Their paths realign, and lead to the exclusive world of private fertility clinics, stolen genes and the dream of the perfect child.
